The Nintendo Super Famicom (Late Model / 1Chip-03) is a legendary 16-bit home video game console originally released on November 21, 1990 in Japan. This later revision is highly sought after for its improved video quality and stable performance.

Featuring a custom 16-bit CPU, advanced graphics processors, and a Sony-designed PCM sound system, the Super Famicom offered a dramatic leap in visual and audio capabilities compared to the original Famicom.

The system supports up to 32,768 colors, displays up to 128 sprites simultaneously, and provides advanced effects such as multi-layer scrolling, rotation, scaling, transparency, and mosaic effects.

The cartridge slot features an automatic spring-loaded shutter. A safety lock mechanism prevents cartridges from being removed while the power is on. The eject system uses a push-button design, and the power indicator lamp lights during operation.
