This is a handmade bronze enameled Greek Orthodox cross.
The cross has a distinctive design with three horizontal crossbeams, the lowest of which is slanted.
The top, smaller bar represents the inscription "Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews" (INRI or INBI) placed by Pontius Pilate.
The slanted bottom beam represents a footrest and symbolizes the "scales of justice," with one end pointing up to heaven (for the repentant thief) and the other down to hell (for the unrepentant one).
The "wheels" at the ends of the horizontal and bottom vertical beams are thought to symbolize the path through life and the afterlife.
A figure, likely a saint, is depicted above the main cross structure
