The product is a 4-string dulcimer, specifically an Appalachian or mountain dulcimer, which is designed for right-handed players. It is handmade and has a vintage finish, with a natural brown color. The dulcimer is 36 inches in size and is suitable for beginner players looking to explore the traditional music of the Appalachian region. I listed this dulcimer as not working for parts. Because it needs some attention to refinishing the fret board as it is screwed up by someone who thought they were capable of something they weren’t. Other than that the body is solid with no cracks I’m aware of. The lower bout is 6 3/8”, upper bout is 5.5”, and the waist is 4”. Couple of nicks in the side edges on playing side if right handed. Looks like HG 693 inside sound hole. No makers name is to be seen looking into body of dulcimer. Good winter project for practicing your luthier skills. Thanks for looking.
