Incredible detail, this carving grin a single piece of wood is free standing and in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, splits, etc.  Each scale and definition on fin and tail is meticulously carved, and eyes are carved into the wood as well.  Stands securely.  Please see pics for further description and condition.
