This is a Stunning and Desirable piece of British Gold Jewellery. Made by J A Main Ltd. in 9ct Yellow Gold it is a Medium Oval Locket Pendant with a Good-Sized Bail at the Top so it can go on a Chain and there would be room inside to hold 2 photos with the Plastic and Material Fittings. The Locket is Slightly Domed meaning it is Curved to both the Front and Back and while the Front features an Engraved Floral Design the Back is Simply Plain and Polished. It is Fully Hallmarked on the Back as photographed with JAM for the Maker's Mark, the Crown Mark for Gold, 375 for the Gold Purity, the Anchor Mark for Birmingham Assay Office, the Date Letter T for 1993 and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. The Locket weighs 4.3g though this includes the Lightweight Fittings and measures 39mm long including the Bail x 23mm wide x 6mm deep. It is in a lightly used and good condition for its age with no damage and just some minor surface wear in particular to the Back where it has rubbed while the Fastener works well.
