This uncirculated 50 Fijian dollar note is a specimen banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1996. It is a red and orange note that bears the signature of Savenaca Narube, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II, a flying Kakau bird, an embossed patch, flowers, the national emblem, and a red SPECIMEN overprint. Its reverse side shows a flower, soldiers, the signing of the Deed of Cession in 1874, the Cession Stone, and a red SPECIMEN overprint. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of a Fijian head.
