A: Most of the air-bag SRS computers supported by the device can be repaired by OBD or BENCH wiring. There is no need to open the cover and weld the wires.
Only a few air-bag SRS computers need to be uncovered, such as Toyota and Volvo, etc.
Q:Does it support to change VIN ?
A: At present, only some air-bag SRS computers support the function of writing VIN code.
Q: I don't have ECU, can I use the device to modify the data directly?
A: At present, some part numbers need to read the EEPROM when repairing, and then generate a new EEPROM to write into the airbag. These types can support generation.
Q: After selecting the air-bag SRS computer, it shows that CANFD connector is needed, but I don't have it.
A: The CANFD connector is not standard and customers want to purchase it separately.
It is required when fixing some of the newer Toyota and Hyundai Kia air-bag SRS computers.
Q: Will the software upgrade be affected after the battery module is repaired?
A: No, the device only removes the mechanically stuck fault codes. It will not affect the normal software upgrade of the module.
Q: Why are there still fault codes after BENCH repair?
A: Because the air-bag SRS computer is only connected to the power and communication lines when repairing under the car, some pins are not powered or connected, resulting in open circuit, short circuit and other fault codes. This is normal, when the ECU is installed back into the car, this part of the fault code will disappear.
