From 2013 it is signed by the artist and in original cellophane wrap.

This piece is called "The Meeting Tree" and the idea comes from the ancient Celts who when clearing the forest for a new settlement would leave one great tree in the centre.

The casting process is as follows

An original design is sculpted from wax.

A rubber mold is formed.

100% cotton pulp is pressed into the mold.

The dry casting is hand painted.

This picture has a Celtic style matting border in gold color and white.

Would be lovely framed.

Size is 12" x 22".

Small tear in cellophane wrap and one small bend on one corner pictured.
