🥀 Rare Authentic Original French Art Nouveau 800 Silver Madonna Mother Mary Rosa Mystica Dropsy Pendant by E. Dropsy 🌹 MYSTIC ROSE 🌹 Fully hallmarked on the top attachment loop, boar's head for French small objects of 800 fineness, and silversmith AD? whom I was not able to identify, how about you, and signed E. Dropsy for the exceptional French medal artist JEAN-BAPTISTE EMILE DROPSY (1848-1923) whom you can further research online. Weighs approximately 6.5 grams. Approximately 2.5 cm (15.8/16 of an inch) in diameter or width, and approximately 2.98 cm (1  2.8/16 inches) in height from top of hallmarked attachment loop, excluding loose oval bale, to bottom edge, and approximately 1.1 mm (0.7/16 of an inch) at its thinest thickness. Front is a beautiful depiction of the Virgin Mary with ROSA MYSTICA mystical rose encompassing her profile, which is one of her beautiful titles. The reverse has a beautiful depiction of stem of lilies flowers which symbolizes the immaculate conception with an empty space where the French would engrave the person and date to whom the beautiful pendant would be gifted to, so finding an empty one is quite a treat. And both sides having beautiful depictions indicates it is an authentic original and not a mold copy as most in the market are ! An ideal gift for Christmas to any devoted Christian.
