Vintage 1957 Artisan Doll Co. “Raving Beauty” 19” Hard Plastic Walker Doll – Marked 200 – Complete with Dress & Hat

This is a lovely 19-inch hard plastic Raving Beauty doll made in the mid-1950s by the Artisan Doll Company. She is a walker doll, moving her head side-to-side when her legs are posed, and she has strung arms. Under the wig edge at the nape of her neck, she is marked simply “200.”

She has reddish-blonde saran hair, styled in its original curled updo, with some lift and old glue visible at the left side of the wig line. Her hazel-green sleep eyes open and close properly and still retain their original painted lower lashes. She has an open mouth showing upper teeth and a painted tongue.

She is dressed in a charming 1950s-style green swing dress with white trim, reminiscent of an Audrey Hepburn silhouette. The matching green pillbox-style hat (found recently in a separate box) is now reunited with the outfit. She also wears white cotton socks and white leatherette snap shoes. She has her original white knit underpants as well.
