Rare Antique French St. Therese of Lisieux Medal Signed Dropsy Beautiful Pendant

Size: 3.0 x 3.5 CM

Weight: 10 g

Description:
This is a beautiful and highly collectible antique French Catholic religious medal, designed by the renowned artist J-B Émile Dropsy (1848-1923), a prominent French Art Nouveau medalist known for elevating religious subjects into true works of art.
  • Artist: The medal is signed by Dropsy (likely Émile Dropsy, although his son Henri was also a medallist). Medals by known artists like Dropsy are more valuable than unsigned pieces.
  • Obverse: Features a finely detailed bust of St. Thérèse, holding a crucifix and roses. The inscription in Latin reads, "SANCTA TERESIA A JESU INFANTE" (Saint Therese of the Child Jesus).
  • Reverse: The reverse side is blank, showing general wear and scratching. This space was intentionally left empty for personal engraving
