The BLONDIE comic strip, created and originally drawn by Chic Young, 

has been in print since September 8, 1930.  When Young died in 1973, 

his son Dean assumed control of the strip.  Artists contributing to the strip

 over the years have included Alex Raymond, Jim Raymond, Paul Fung, 

Mike Gersher, Stan Drake, Denis Lebrun, 

Jeff Park and John Marshall.
