840/4 Z bits, 3/32 x 2 inches

  • For hexagonal socket head screws
  • Hex-Plus allows socket head screws to live longer
  • Tough for hard materials
  • 1/4" hexagon drive (Wera connecting series 4)
Tough Wera bits for hexagonal socket screws, for universal use. Hex-Plus offers larger contact surfaces in the screw head. The notch
effect is reduced to a minimum and the destruction of the screw is nearly eliminated. 1/4" hexagonal, suitable for holders as per DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3.

Hex-Plus: Hexagon socket screws are a problem, because the contact surfaces that transfer the force of the tool to the screw are very narrow. The consequence: the head of the screw can be damaged, usually rounding out the recess. Hex-Plus tools have larger contact surfaces to prevent this, driving from the flats of the recess, rather than the corners. Good to know: Hex-Plus tools fit into every standard hexagon socket screw!

Tough bits: Tough Wera bits prevent the tip from breaking prematurely. Z-bits usually are the bit for universal screwdriving applications.
