These dolls were acquired directly from a factory liquidation of the Madame Alexander Doll Company in New York.

The sale included factory inventory, showroom models, and display dolls from the company’s historic Harlem production facility located in the Studebaker Building on West 131st Street.

Each piece retains physical evidence of factory cataloging — such as a handwritten lot label on the sole (see photo).
