Readigrass can be fed dry or dampened before feeding your tortoises. An essential way to keep your grazing tortoises diet right all year round. Particularly important for non-hibernating tortoises, so they are used to eating this when fresh graze is unavailable.

Water must be available at all times when feeding dry food. Pure grass with no additives or preservatives carefully dried to preserve the nutrients.

Readigrass contains 100% Dried grass: 15% Protein, 21% Fibre, 3% oils, 10-12% Carbohydrate, 0.55% Calcium and 0.27% Phosporus. No additives.

Mediterranean tortoises, such as Hermann, Spur-thigh and Marginated tortoises require a minimum 50% grass in their diet.

Species that live in drier climates where flowers and leafy greens are less available can have up to 75% grass in their diet. Particularly, Savannah and semi-arid species such as Sulcata, Leopard, Galapagos, Indian and Radiated star tortoises. Also, Egyptian, Whitei, Tunisian spur-thighs, Horsefield and Pancake tortoises.
