Built with the same slide-in low profile as the original Tasman, this evolution features our signature UGGbraid on the collar, a lush sheepskin interior, and soft sugarcane EVA for optimal comfort. Perfect for indoors or out, the Tasman is the ultimate go-to for all-day style and comfort.
The foundation of UGG cleaning and maintenance lies in avoiding water washing and addressing stains with targeted methods. Routine care primarily emphasizes dust prevention, water resistance, and the preservation of fiber integrity and leather suppleness.
Daily Cleaning (for surface-level soiling)
Recommended tools: Soft-bristled brush (preferably a dedicated suede brush), clean lint-free cloth, UGG-specific cleaner or diluted neutral detergent.
Procedure: Begin by gently brushing the surface with a soft-bristled brush in the direction of the nap to remove loose dirt. Next, lightly dampen a cloth with the cleaning solution and dab—rather than rub—the affected areas to avoid damaging the texture. Finally, blot excess moisture with a dry towel and allow the footwear to air dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Deep Maintenance (Waterproofing and Shaping)
Waterproofing: After thorough cleaning and complete drying, apply a UGG-specific waterproof spray. Apply 2–3 coats, allowing approximately 20 minutes of drying time between applications. Once fully cured, this treatment significantly enhances water repellency.
Shaping and Odor Control: To maintain structural integrity, insert crumpled newspaper or shoe trees after drying to prevent collapse of the upper. For odor management, place an activated carbon deodorizing pouch inside the shoe, ensuring it does not come into direct contact with the suede surface to avoid residue transfer.
Prohibited Practices
Never machine wash or soak UGG footwear, as this may cause irreversible shrinkage of the leather and matting of the fibers.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as elevated temperatures can lead to hardening and cracking of the upper material.
The use of abrasive brushes, bleach, or conventional soaps is strongly discouraged, as these agents may compromise the delicate hair and leather surfaces.
