NICE - Antique Japanese Tetsubin Signed Cast Iron Kettle/Teapot. This comes from an estate and the kettle is signed on the underside of the lid. It has a lovely decorative pattern on the body and is in nice overall condition with normal wear from age and use. The lid is brass/bronze and the body is cast iron. In my opinion, the kettle is a lovely collectors piece and not intended for actual use as a functioning teapot. It does have a slow leak when filled with water that comes from the center of the base underneath. The teapot is old and a beautiful piece for a collector. Please see pictures for all details.
