Antique Fusee 16.5in Passing Strike Clock Movement & Dial

A well made large antique  English fusee movement and dial. Signed 'J. A Smith Devizes' it has a Passing strike movement with early shaped plates with a falseplate. There is a small rabbit makers stamp on the movement which I've not ever seen before.

It also has a hand setting dial .and is a  back winder, so probably originally came from a shop? that would have been situated in the shop window and accessed from the back.

Dial movements like this are very hard to find and this is a larger size which is even more rare. It needs a new gut while it feels like there is a spring in it but it hasn't been tested. The bell rings well and probably dates from the mid 19th century?

The movement is good and clean but is sold as seen not working, incomplete for restoration/parts only with no returns. What you see is all I have so please look carefully as they form part of the overall description. A very nice item which should restore well.
