This auction features a 1/16 scale Ford FW-60 Custom Tractor that was made by ERTL, and has been customized with enhanced features. This is part of the high-detailed ERTL Prestige Collection. This tractor features an opening hood, detailed engine, 3-point hitch, clear cab windows that show the detailed cab interior, and rear fender lights. There has been a number of additions to the tractor to make it stand out. Custom 3-Stack weights (12 total) have been added to all of the rims as pictured and includes the bolts as well to make them look authentic. There has been a custom rear weight rack added along with 39 individual weights that have been precision fit. New authentic decals have been added on the side panels of the tractor along with additional decals on the back of the cab. There were several modifications made as well to enhance the mufflers and air cleaners to ensure they look straight. I have added pictures for this. The pipe between the muffler and air cleaner was extended due to the pipe being too short and pulling the muffler and air cleaner at an angle. The muffler had a 1/8 inch piece added underneath to also help present the muffler as being straight. Lastly, a bracket was added to the cab as pictured to make sure the 2 air cleaners held in place. The real tractors have brackets as well. This was very time consuming as the front wheel and axles had to be removed along with the rest of the parts that were enhanced to present a better display. All of the parts were individually made, the decals went through a long trial and error process to make them look authentic and to stand out, and most of the time investment was creating the parts to align the muffler and air cleaner. The tractor looks really sharp! I have included a couple of pictures to show the updates to the work that has been done. Please let me know if you have any questions. For those who have asked the question, this was converted from an ERTL FW-30, which is the same tractor as the FW-60 that was produced in 2009 with the exception of the duals.
