Not many of these camera were ever marked as such and left the factory.
A duplicate #, very rare marking with the * after the serial #

The camera is in remarkable condition
MINT on some parts
The top plate, back door, shoe and parts all look spectacular
Leatherette is all intact
-Lugs show signs of use along with the inside of the camera but the outside is spectacular

There is a M seal on the camera so maybe this camera was specially marked after service from Leica and no to be sold ? as the * cameras were not sold to the public

A very special camera.
Pretty and outstanding with great details, condition and marking.
In nearly 30 years, I have only ever had a few * cameras and one * # lens.
One was a M3 that I sold years for over $4000 and another IIIC #400002* for nearly $3000. These cameras don't come up that often. 
They are desirable and rare!
Nice to have with box, case and papers and in this condition overall.
A really wonderful, rare and outstanding camera to have and enjoy!

We try very hard to describe our items' condition as best we can but if you feel that your item was not accurately described please contact us. We are always more than willing to work something out, but please contact us first. Our return policy is valid if we are notified of the problem within 48 hours upon receiving the item. Refunds will be issued once the item has been shipped and received back to us. Refunds do not include return shipping cost.
 

Shipping

Our shipping charges include shipping, handling, tracking and delivery confirmation (including signature release). Shipping here in Canada is expensive so please note that we charge, on average, 10% less than the actual shipping cost. Pick Up is welcome and always FREE! We ship worldwide! 
 
 
If your item is lost, stolen or damaged in transit DO NOT throw out any of the packaging material or paperwork you've received and contact us IMMEDIATELY.
