Transform your home and car audio system with Firefly LDAC, a powerful Bluetooth music receiver packed in a compact USB size. Certified as High-Res audio, Firefly LDAC streams the highest quality music from your smartphone or tablet via LDAC technology for Android or AAC codec for iOS. Equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 chipset for a stable connection, the Firefly LDAC is the ideal accessory for both iOS and Android users who are looking for the best wireless music quality.
Simply plug Firefly LDAC into your audio system and USB power source and start enjoying your music! You can pair your mobile device with Firefly LDAC via the Bluetooth menu Settings. Its LED light glows like a Firefly, so you always know the connection status.
Note: If your car does not have a USB port, we recommend using a 5V car adapter from a reputable brand to avoid damaging both your phone and Firefly LDAC.
Most Bluetooth receivers only support the default low quality SBC codec, which is less than ideal for music streaming. The Firefly LDAC is one of the few receivers on the market that supports LDAC technology that allows streaming high-resolution audio over Bluetooth connections at up to 990 kbps at 32 bit/96 kHz (vs Qualcomm’s aptX at 352 kbps and aptX HD at 576 kbps).
*Note that your Android device will also need to support LDAC (e.g. Android 8.0 or up). Please check with your phone manufacturer for details.
iOS devices, as well as a few others, implement AAC over Bluetooth, making the Firefly LDAC a must have for i Phone and iPad users who want to get the most out of their speakers and car audio systems.
The TUNAI Firefly LDAC aims to optimize your listening experiencing by also adding a high-performance external audiophile-grade DAC from Cirrus Logic (127dB SNR) which provides superior conversion and more authentic and clearer quality of music. Enjoy an enhanced listening experience that allows you to distinguish different sounds and instruments and notice finer details.
Firefly LDAC remembers up to 7 paired devices! It will auto-connect to the last device used as soon as you start your engine or turn on your home audio system.
Never worry about forgetting to charge your Bluetooth receiver again! Unlike many Bluetooth receivers on the market that require charging, Firefly LDAC works as soon as you turn on your engine or your home audio system. It is charged directly through the USB port while it plays.
Unique ‘party mode’ feature allows TWO devices to be actively connected with Firefly LDAC at the same time so you can play music from either device. Connect both phones and simply start playing – it’s that easy. No disconnection required.
TUNAI Connect App offers customized EQ settings, ground loop isolator settings, firmware upgrades and more! It is available on both iOS and Android stores.
Note: If you are experiencing issues with Firefly LDAC, make sure to update the firmware via app first as it might solve the issue in a minute for you!
TUNAI listened to customers and added a ground loop isolator inside of the original Firefly Bluetooth receiver, all without increasing the size! The ground loop isolator inside will eliminate 99% of the hissing and humming noise interference produced by the car. You can simply switch on the setting on TUNAI Connect App and truly enjoy your favorite tunes through just one simple compact device.

First, please make sure your car stereo’s input source is set to AUX IN. Second, try turning off the Isolator function, as it may interfere with the audio output on certain car models and cause no sound.
If the sound is muddy, turn down the volume on your phone, and up on the car stereo. If there is a humming and hissing sound (ground loop noise), turn on the “ground loop noise cancellation” option on TUNAI Connect App.
As there are two connections that might show up on your Bluetooth list (one for the app and one for the sound), make sure to check on your Bluetooth list and connect to all items showing as “TUNAI FIREFLY LDAC”.
‘Forget’ all devices from your phone’s Bluetooth menu, restart the phone, and pair with the Firefly LDAC again. If you are experiencing unstable Bluetooth connection, make sure you update the firmware via TUNAI Connect App.
Any Android with 8.0 (Oreo) or up supports LDAC codec. LDAC usually needs to be manually activated in most cases. Please check your phone user manual for how to turn on LDAC for your model.
When party mode is turned on, TUNAI Connect App and two devices are connected to Firefly LDAC. Whichever device that starts playing the music or receives audio notifications will become the main output device. When one phone is playing music, we suggest putting the other phone on mute/pause other audio media to avoid disruption.
