Pamela Sullivan, 18, of Seattle, Washington, tells of her ordeal on a survival training exercise in the rugged Three Sisters Wilderness of Central Oregon early this month. Her two companions perished in the cold temperature and biting wind. "I just wanted to live," says Pam. "I kept thinking of home and my parents and all the people I love. I wouldn't allow myself to die."Photo measures 8 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 09-23-1971.
