The bag is made from hessian. Hessian is a natural material made from the jute plant.

Uses:

• Beekeepers love using jute and so do we here at Gwenyn Gruffydd! The jute is used as fuel and burn it in the smoker to produce a long lasting smoke to calm the bees.
• Can be used as a crown board
• Catching Swarms of bees
• Garden Planters - growing potatoes and plants!
• Garden Hanging Baskets / Pot Liners
• Crafts
• Up cycling or art projects
• Posters or wall art
• Weed barrier or mulch in the gardens and ideal for no-dig systems.
• Dog bed/ matt
• Bushcraft or camping
• Or even as a handy strong sack!

Condition is used and the’ve been cut to get the beans out. Position of the tear can be on the bottom or on the top but sometimes on side/middle.There is also a small hole where the hook held them up whilst opening the bags - this can be seen in the example photos.
