FULLY IN GERMAN.

NEAR FINE CONDITION 1980 publication on "Altdeutsche Kochrezepte" - Old German Cooking Recipes.  Originally authored by a Dr. Oetker, this is a modern translation of recipes produced decades earlier, by my research.  The book is in NEAR FINE CONDITION, with red embossed cloth boards, with egg white titling on spine, and a front board paste-on title.  152 clean and solidly bound pages with illustrations adorning the recipes - see listing photos for examples.

MAYBE OF MORE INTEREST ARE THE TWO ANTIQUE GERMAN RECIPE AND COOKING BOOKLETS FOUND IN THE ESTATE ALONG WITH THIS BOOK.  One is a much older, 1930ca according to a few sites online, version of recipes by Dr. Oetker, and the other is a booklet for making fruit products like wine and jellies.  Both are also fully in German.  More details:

1930ca, translated title is, Dr. Oetker's Recipes for Kitchen and Home.  Dedicated tohousewives by Dr. A. Oetker, Bielefeld.  Some wear along cover edges and some paper loss on cover and a bit in the next leaf or two.  No illustrations, 48 solidly bound pages, some soiling but they are fully legible.

1928, translated title is, Instructions for making fruit and berry wines, fruit liqueurs, fruit jellies, fruit juices and compotes at home.  No author identified, publisher on back cover identified as, Druck und Vertrieb, Berlin.  32 pages, 10 illustrations, Very Good Condition.

Dr. Oetker recipe books were called the "Betty Crocker of Germany" on one website.  On this famous German found online:

"Dr. August Oetker (1862-1918), the German pharmacist, food scientist, and inventor founded the Dr. Oetker company in Bielefeld in 1891. He is celebrated for creating a ready-to-use baking powder, which became the foundation of the Dr. Oetker brand, now a multinational food conglomerate known for products like baking goods, frozen pizzas, and pudding."
