Indications:-

• Elastic cover of sharp-ridged alveolar processes with a thin tegument.
• Cushioning of dentures against the mylohyoid line, mental foramen or other prominences of the alveolar ridge such as the retromolar triangle or tubera.
• Lower jaws with a “tramtrack”-profile. Cushioning against the median suture.
• Post-damming of the A line and to increase upper and lower denture stability by improved adhesion.
• Construction of bracket less dentures and for covering congenital or postoperative defect areas with solid or inflatable obturators.
