Description

Vintage 1930's-1940's figural bristle brush or whisk broom with a hand painted wooden handle of a lady in a blue dress and cap. These were used to brush clothing, especially uniforms, free of lint, dust or stray hairs, sweep crumbs from a table top, by barbers to brush hair and whiskers off of customers, and the like. Measures about 5 3/4" long-the can of Coke is for a sizing reference. Nice vintage condition with some wear to the painted finish that could be touched up if desired and a crack in the wood on her dress. Bristles are plentiful and it still works great. Cute addition to a collection!
