Very Scarce and limited edition MICKEY MANTLE Authentic 1981-94 Klector's Mints NYC Cab Card professionally graded SGC 9 MINT.  The Klector's Mints series of 24 multi-sport non-standard sized cards was created by New York City cab driver Bernard Kleckner who had the cards printed by Solomon Printing Co. in New York City between the years 1981 - 1994.  These non-numbered cards were limited to a print run of 400. Mr. Kleckner gave the cards to his taxi customers to encourage repeat business.  It's conjectured that most of these cards never made it into the hands of collectors and that very few of them are still in circulation.  The cards were created during Mr. Kleckner's tenure as a cab driver and are consequently referred to as "cab cards".  Many of these cards reflect his Taxi Medallion (Permit) Number (2M25) on the reverse side.  The 2" x 2-5/8" Mickey Mantle cab card is one of the cards in the set that does list the medallion number.
