This rare antique porcelain plate commemorates the Akron Street Fair in Akron, Ohio, held Aug. 23–28, 1898. Made by Sebring Porcelain, it features a majestic elk at center, symbolizing the Elks Lodge. The plate measures approximately 9" x 9.25" with a beautiful scalloped edge and intricate embossed detailing.
This heirloom has been passed down through generations of Elks Lodge and fraternal club members in our family. It shows age-appropriate crazing and some discoloration/fading, either from time or original glazing, but remains in overall great condition with major no cracks or repairs that I can see.
A striking piece of Ohio and fraternal history—perfect for collectors of Elks memorabilia or early American ceramics.
