Twin Towers: The Life of New York City's World Trade Center, a New York Times bestseller by Angus Kress Gillespie, writer and Professor of American Studies at Rutgers University. Hardcover book with the original dust jacket published by Rutgers University Press, printed in the United States. SIGNED, inscribed and personalized on the title page by the author on or about Christmas 2001 (a few months following the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers resulting in their complete collapse). This copy is a 2001 reprint/2nd printing of the original first edition which was published in 1999. The book includes some black and white illustrations throughout.

I consider this book to be in overall very good to like new pre-owned vintage condition ~ possibly unread. The pages are clean and crisp, the red cover boards appear to be in excellent shape, and the binding tight and square. The dust jacket is also very clean, with only slight curling primarily along the top edge. The jacket has been fitted with a new Brodart clear mylar dust protector which is not permanently affixed and can be easily removed if desired.
