How to find courtesy lights wire?
To find the fuse for the door lights (e.g., courtesy lights) in your vehicle's fuse box, you'll need to consult your vehicle's service manual
or locate a wiring diagram specific to your car's make, model, and year.
These diagrams typically show each fuse's number and what component it protects. Look for fuses labeled "door light,"
"courtesy light," "interior light," or similar. If you're unsure, check all fuses labeled "lights"
or those associated with interior lighting.
General process:
1. Locate the Fuse Box:
Your fuse box is usually under the dashboard, in the engine compartment, or sometimes in the trunk.
2. Consult Your Manual or Diagram:
Refer to your service manual or wiring diagram for a list of fuses and their functions.
3. Identify the Door Light Fuse:
Look for a fuse labeled "door light," "courtesy light," "interior light," or a similar term associated with interior lighting.
4. Inspect the Fuse:
Check if the fuse is blown (broken or blackened). If it is, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
5. Test the Lights:
After replacing the fuse, try the door lights again to see if they work
Note: Some electrical knowledge required for proper installation
