Here is a lovely mantel clockby The New Haven Clock Co.  It is marked "GEM Cottage 2" Day Striking.  It is in very nice shape and I had it running.  The scene is of 2 men duck hunting in a canoe and it is in very good shape.  See pictures

- History: The New Haven Clock Company, established in 1853 in New Haven, Connecticut, was a significant American clock manufacturer during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The company produced a wide range of clocks, including mantel clocks, wall clocks, and pocket watches, known for their affordability and reliability. New Haven clocks were popular in American homes due to their mass production and accessible price points.

This particular "Cottage" clock design reflects the Victorian era's fondness for decorative yet functional household items. The label visible inside the clock door provides specific instructions for maintaining accurate timekeeping, a common feature in clocks of this period. The oak case and pendulum add to its aesthetic appeal, making it a charming example of American clockmaking history
