A fine & rare 19th C Aboriginal Woomera with carving to both sides - Tribal Art. Carving on the front would indicate north west Western Australian origin. The carving on the back looks to have been done later and of Central Australian origin possibly indicating this piece was traded. The carving on the back would also indicate that this piece had some importance outside of its utilitarian purpose. Beautiful patina from years of handling with intact original barb.
