USB-C Rechargeable LIP-12 Replacement Battery

This is a custom-made replacement battery designed for compatible Sony MiniDisc players that originally use the LIP-12 rechargeable battery.

The housing is manufactured using 3D-printed PA12 nylon, providing good toughness, durability and heat resistance.

Main Features

• USB-C Charging
  Can be charged directly through the built-in USB-C port.

• In-Device Charging
  The battery can also be charged while installed inside a compatible player.

• Charging Indicator & Automatic Stop
  Red light indicates charging. The indicator turns green when fully charged, and charging automatically stops.

• Upgraded Reverse-Polarity Protection
  The latest version includes a protection circuit. If the removable cell is accidentally installed in reverse, the battery will not output power and the charging indicator will remain off, helping protect both the player and battery assembly.

• PA12 Nylon 3D-Printed Housing
  Custom 3D-printed PA12 nylon construction provides good toughness and durability.

• Semi-Open Design
  The removable cell can be easily taken out and replaced when necessary.

• Replaceable Cell Design
  Designed for compatible flat-top rechargeable lithium-ion cells only.

Designed for devices originally using the LIP-12 battery type.

Reverse Installation Protection & Reset

If the removable cell is accidentally installed in reverse, the battery will not output power and the charging indicator will not light.

To reactivate the protection circuit:

1. Remove the cell from the battery holder.
2. Leave the holder empty for approximately 1 minute.
3. Reinstall the cell in the correct direction.
4. Connect a USB-C charger to activate the circuit.
5. The battery can then be used normally.
