UPDATE: August 25th- just put in brand new golf pride tour velvet grips on EVERY CLUB so they’re 100% playable right out of the box!! I have hit them all. They perform great - I almost made an ace playing these for the first time so you will be rewarded with good strikes.

All shafts are green true temper rocket (2 and 3 iron missing stickers).

This model of the Precision iron set are from 1954 which is the first year Hogan released his own line of irons and they’re considered to be the granddaddy of all blade designs. Odds are if you’re in the market for a set like this then you already know what you’re buying. If you do not know, this model was the baseline for some of the most prolific forged clubs made by Mizuno, most notably the MP-14's which tiger used through his amateur dominance as well as other lines such as the TN-87 or MP-29's. A quick google search will tell you these are the rarest, most sought after and collectible Hogan irons ever made.

71 years old and these clubs are in dynamite playable shape, as you can see there is discoloration from wear on the club faces from time and hitting balls but they’re still pure and perform as expected. They are a joy to hit. Play them, display them, or both!
