The Meissen Porcelain Potpourri Urn from the 19th century in the Merchant Pattern by Helena Wolfson is a rare and valuable antique piece originating from Germany. Made of high-quality porcelain by the renowned maker Meissen, this potpourri urn showcases intricate detailing and craftsmanship typical of the era. Its original design and historical significance make it a standout piece for collectors of antiques.
The piece dates back to the 1860's - 1880's and is in fantastic condition for its age and stands at just under 7" tall. The discoloration on the inside which can be seen in photos, feels like it's under the glaze, but it also could be from past use. There is a tiny chip on the inside of the lid which can also be seen in photos. I did my absolute best to depict every angle accurately through pictures. This piece has been lovingly cabinet kept and displayed for generations. Questions will gladly be answered!
