Postcard with some "lucky" heather stuck to it, sent to Dora by George Nicholson, Seaforth Highlanders, who has also written in pencil "Loos 1915" & "Somme-Arras 1916-17". A large piece of heather is missing from one side of the card, leaving just an impression. The flower from the small piece on the other side is present but has broken off. The card is grubby and marked.
Inside pages of a christmas card with hand drawn sketches and a real photo of a battleship with the name scratched out. Sent by Hugh Woodward. 10.5cm x 8cm.
1919 Protection Certificate & Certificate of Identity for Francis Henry Bassett, South Wales Borderers. Very flimsy with tears, creases and chips. 15cm x 21cm.
Single sheet mimeographed Battalion Orders by Colonel F.H. Hancock, Seaford May 17th 1915, with mention of Bassett. Fragile with creases and small tears. 32.5cm x 20.5cm.
Royal Navy Service Certificate for Ebnor William Hall, born 1897. Complete record of his service as a Telegraphist, starting in 1913 and ending in 1945. Served on many different ships. Lots of creases and discolouration, but still in one piece. 34cm x 20.5cm.
