    SRMW2.2G26 RMW2.2G24 Pump Head AR42518 AR42940 AR43061

This is an upgraded head for RMW pumps and the same head as the SRMW pump. The main difference between the RMW pump head an the SRMW pump head are the check valves. They are designed better and will hold up better under pressure making this the better of the two pump heads.  Most other parts are the same.

This head assembly is the same as our other ads except that it does not come with the unloader. If you think that just your check valves and packing are bad and your unloader is good then this pump head is for you.   All you will need to do is to remove the unloader and the seat and place it in the new pump head and you will be ready to go. If you have questions or need help removing the seat please feel free to call or email us.

Not sure if your unloader is bad?  Basically there are a couple of things to look for.

        1) Unscrew the entire unloader out from the head of the pump.  Inspect the unloader to see if the head (AR calls it a "Shutter" Valve) to see if it has a groove around it or is cracked.  Also take the unloader and see if you can move the piston inside it.  You may need to further take it apart and remove the spring in order for the piston to move since the spring inside the unloader puts a lot of tension on the piston. Also note that it will not move very much--just verify that it moves freely.

        2) Make sure that there is not an o-ring in the hole located just below the threads.

If all of these items check okay then just get the pump head and then remove the unloader and seat from your head and you will be good to go. Make sure that you remove the seat also.  To remove the seat you will need an M6-1.0 bolt about 2" long -- just screw it into the seat and pull up on the bolt and it will pull the seat out.

    Instructions for Replacing Unloader:

         1) Unscrew the main body of the unloader from the manifold of the pump

2)Take an M6 x 1.0 screw and screw it into the threaded unloader seat (3-4 thread turns is sufficient.  Pull up on the screw and the seat should come out.

3)Take the seat with the screw in it and push the seat into the new head and then unscrew the bolt from the seat.

         4) Screw the unloader back into the head and you should be ready to go.
