The Bangladesh 50 Taka Banknote was issued by Bangladesh Bank in 2022 to commemorate the opening of the Dhaka Metro Rail. Its obverse features Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed and the Dhaka Metro Rail. The reverse depicts the Metrorail elevated railway tracks and the bank logo. The banknote has a watermark that reveals Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on a pixelated background, an electrotype bank logo, and 50. It is 130 x 60 mm in size and is signed by Abdur Rouf Talukder. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
