This uncirculated 10 Indian rupee note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 1970 for the 100th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. It is a brown, green, black, and orange note that bears the signature of B. N. Adarkar, and measures 138 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side features the lion capital of Ashoka pillar. Its reverse side shows the RBI seal and Mahatma Gandhi at the Sabarmali Ashram. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the lion capital of Ashoka pillar with a vertical RBI 10. The note was withdrawn.
