Washington State Corrections Center near Shelton is one of the newest and most modern prisons in the nation. The $14,000,000 campus-style complex is surrounded by rolling forestland. Slated for occupancy in October, it will eventually house a capacity of 720 inmates. The maximum security reception in it, to the right of buildings, is not shown. Photo measures 10.75 x 7.25 inches.
