This is the first book solely dedicated to the TauchPz IV. It covers its use both prior to Operation Barbarossa on exercises preparing for Operation Sealion and during the conflict on the Eastern front.
The information covered includes detailed analysis of the different specification for each Ausf (E & D) as well as the units that used them and the markings and stowage associated with them. There are a number of details revealed here that have never previously been discussed.
This volume contains: 98 period photos illustrating the vehicle in greater depth than ever before, the vast majority published for the first time, short appendix on the TauchPz III, diagrams and a section on modelling the vehicle conclude the book.
The section on modelling an Ausf E and Ausf D versions of the Tauch Pz 1/35 PzIV from the 18th & 17th PzDivs. It includes full colour photos that show the building and correcting of currently available kits from Dragon and Tristar (now Hobby Boss).
The supplementary editions add content to the vehicle specific information given in the five main "PzKpfwIV at the front" volumes, which detail variation across Ausf and the general evolution of the PzKpfwIV and its variants.
