An antique rather impressive set of STS trademark brass Post Office parcel & letter scales, Co.1900.

The base also has an applied plaque for Benetfink & Co. Cheapside, London, E.C.

Applied brass plaques for both parcel & letter rates, parcels not exceeding 11 lbs.

This is the largest post office scales of this type that I have come across, the brass has been fully cleaned and in beautiful condition.

Just a couple of the screws are missing from the parcel tray (still has two present and perfectly secure).

The weights range from 1 oz - 4 lb (2X 4 lb weights present for the larger parcel rates), 2 lb, 1 lb, 8 oz, 4 oz, 2 oz & 1 oz.

All well photographed so please inspect to fully appreciate the scales.

Length 37.5cm, depth 28cm, height 20cm.

Parcel tray length & width 18cm.
