This is a vintage 1960s sewing pattern by Vogue Basic Design. It is # 2197 in size 12. (Note that size 12 was smaller in the 1960s than now; the measurements for size 12 on the back of the pattern are: bust 34", waist 25 1/2", and hip 36".)
This pattern features a loose fitting, low waisted dress with contrast or self pleated skirt. Jewel neckline, wide contrast collar or contrast or self scarf collar. Full length sleeves, gathered into buttoned cuffs, slim sleeves, bell shaped sleeves or sleeveless.
The pattern is in excellent used condition. The pieces were very neatly cut out and replaced in the package along with the instructions so it is complete -- yes, I counted every single piece! The pattern has been carefully stored in a clean, dry cabinet in a nonsmoking home.
