Hello, up for purchase is a very pretty hat by Elsa Schiaparelli.  This hat is from the later part of the 1960's era.  It's completely done in a cream fabric ribbon in flower petals which is woven around the hat on a mesh base.  A light lemon yellow velvet ribbon accents the hat along with an upside down bow (a Schiaparelli nuance).  It has an interesting silhouette, called the "Juliet" which was from the 1967 movie Romeo and Juliet.  It's a tiered look that steps back away from the face.  Please refer to the photos.  The circumference of the hat is approx. 21 1/2 inches in length.  It's in excellent condition.  The hat is an earlier design and the label says Paris only, which indicates the New York store was not yet in operation.
