This Roman provincial tetradrachm of Trajan Decius, struck at Antioch, is a serious ancient — both in size and presence. These Syrian tetradrachms were workhorse coins of the eastern empire, struck broad and meant to circulate hard.

The 4/5 strike brings out bold portrait detail, while the 2/5 surface tells the truth: this coin lived, moved, and survived. That’s normal for Antioch issues and part of what makes them real. NGC certification keeps it honest and removes the guesswork.
