NGC ( VF ) Roman AE of Licinius II AD 317-324

Licinius I was executed on the orders of his brother-in-law Constantine the Great. He was hung to death after his defeat at the Battle of Chrysopolis. Licinius the Younger ( Licinius II ) was spared at this time due to his relation to Constantine but he seems to have been involved in the conspiracy against his first cousin Crispus, and he was also executed in 326.
