Falize ? Extremely Rare Authentic Original Circa 1900 Early French Art Nouveau Victorian Edwardian 18K Gold Platinum Dancing Diamonds Snowflake Stars Earrings 🌨️✨ Each earring is hallmarked on the top front gold curve side with a partial eagles head which is a French guarantee hallmark for 18K gold of French origin. One eagles head is visible while the other has only the beak barely visible. The purity of the platinum would only be 850 or 900 as was the custom back then. Platinum in the Victorian Edwardian and art Deco era consisted of either 85 percent platinum and 15 percent palladium for a beautiful white shine or reflection (850 platinum), or 90 percent platinum and 10 percent iridium to add rigidity and strength (900 platinum). Very possible earrings by Falize since they are in an original Falize presentation box ?! One weighs approximately 1.3 grams while the other weighs approximately 1.2 grams, for a total of approximately 2.5 grams together. One is approximately 1.55 cm (9.3/16 of an inch) in height from top 18K arch to furthest platinum bottom diamond frame, while the other is approximately 1.63 cm (10.5/16 of an inch) in height from top gold arch to furthest bottom diamond platinum frame. The slight difference is size is that these beauties were handcrafted, not machine made. The lower larger diamonds (approximately 3 mm in diameter) are old European cut, while the smaller top ones (approximately 2 mm in diameter) are rose cut. Diamonds are the hardest stones on earth which is why they are used to cut through hard surfaces such as granite, while platinum is one of the hardest metals, so designed to outlast the existence of humans So when your extinct these earrings will still be around. The two diamonds represent you & me eternal soulmates. Diamonds representing heavenly stars thus eternity, so you and me like the glittering stars as soulmates for eternity, or two dancing eternal snowflakes, very cool indeed, no ? Will continue.......
