My grandmother was an antique dealer in Central Upstate NY, retiring around 1960, and saved these along with other furniture salvage. It looks like a washstand or shelf "bracket" or the side of a cabinet or desk. It is just over 13" by 6" in size, and just over 3/4" thick. Nice carved (hand or machine) design on one side. Doesn't look pre-1900 but I could be wrong. From the color and weight, I believe this is maple. Needs a good cleaning, and the back is less smooth. Attractive and waiting for restoration.  High bidder pays Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping based on 2 lbs; not shipped international due to weight. We combine shipping!
