?? Important Warning About Fairing Quality ??

A properly painted fairing should be meticulously sanded with 1000-grit sandpaper, thoroughly cleaned, and primed before any color is applied. It should then receive at least two coats of paint, be sanded smooth again, and sealed with multiple layers of hard clear coat. This process allows light scratches to be buffed out easily, keeping your fairing looking like new.

Always confirm the finishing process before you buy — it can save you a lot of money and frustration down the road.

Be very careful when buying from other companies. Many simply sell high-gloss ABS plastic instead of properly painted parts. Once high-gloss ABS is scratched, there’s almost nothing you can do to fix it except have it completely repainted the proper way.

PLEASE NOTE: It is still cheaper if you buy a painted fairing and change the color than buying raw steel/fiberglass/ABS plastic. You still have to do prep work — sanding until smooth and priming — before painting your preferred color.

THE PAINTER WILL COST $250–$400 FOR THE FAIRING. IF YOU BUY AND REPAINT IT, YOU WILL SAVE HALF.

TO INSTALL IT, YOU MAY NEED TO MAKE SOME MODIFICATIONS
As in: drilling new holes, or using extra spacers...

***The windshield is made of pure lexan (high quality polycarbonate). It’s plastic mold injected. It can take flying debris or small rock. We tested it with a hammer and it endured without crack or chip. This is not the cheap acrylic that most seller on ebay sell with their fairing. Their will crack or break when you bend. In addition, it doesn’t provide any type of protection from rock or debris. This is a must have if you want a clear view and real protection.***
