What does Grom Mean?

"Grom" is a slang term for a young surfer, usually under 18 years old, who is particularly skilled or precocious. It's short for "grommet", a term that's been used in surfer slang since the early 1960s. The term is most commonly used by surfers in Australia and on the West Coast of the United States, and is also used in the names of some youth surfing clubs and competitions.


This is not a yard sale or flea market find. It was originally purchased by us and comes from our clean smoke-free home. I am not a professional seller and only offer good quality items.
